Mellow Mushroom
Mellow Mushroom needed a new website that captured their heady, psychedelic vibe while creating connectivity and uniformity across more than 300 locations. The new digital experience needed to be equal parts practical and far out with clear measurable goals for both.
On the practical side, Mellow Mushroom’s ideal experience would create a seamless interaction between online ordering, marketing, and operational technology systems.
For the “far out” goal, the digital experience had to be as remarkable, if not more, than the four-walls experience.

3 Owl was very responsive to any problems we faced and were quick to react. Besides protecting the client from cyber attacks, the updates to the site increased its speed, highlighted key functionality, and drove an overall increase in customer interaction. 3 Owl boasted strong organizational skills that helped them meet all deadlines during the engagement.
Restaurant Technology Integrations
At the time of the project’s launch, integrations to online ordering were not available. Instead of direct integrations with Olo, the brand’s online ordering platform partner, we linked the menu pages directly to the ordering system. For locations, Single Platform was integrated to drive location data and information with a single source of truth for data.
